Sparkly Painted Mini Clothespins

Adorable little painted clothespins. So many ways to use them, right? And Ez over at Creature Comforts blog found a way to make them in any color and make them bright, glittery, or a combination of the two. Nail polish! And with all the inexpensive polishes out there you are sure to find a color you love to complement your wedding accessories. Cute favor tag clips, pictures of the bride and groom, or even mixed into your centerpieces the list can go on and on. So let's get started!

Fold a stiff piece of card stock into little ridges that are about 1 1/2" tall, this will be where you will put your clothespins while you paint them and to let them dry. As tiny as they are they would be super difficult to hold and paint at the same time without getting it all over your fingers.

Coat all sides of the clothespins and then let dry for at least an hour. You could even make a pattern (like stripes or dots) if you have two colors you would like to incorporate into your wedding decor. Or paint one side one color and the other size the next color. The possibilities are endless!

To use as favor tags, add clothespin to twine or ribbon before tying the bow at the top of the tag. They could also be used to pin up any and everything and would be great to have on hand for last minute uses that will certainly come up.

Be sure to post a link if you make any of these and how you use them. I know there will be a lot of creative minds out there that will take this a step further and I would love to see what you can come up with!
